Thank you for arranging our recent coach hire. The whole day was fantastic, and all the Brownies are still talking about it a month later so they must have enjoyed it! I wanted to thank you for such a super service - the coach was right on time, the driver was very helpful, especially as we had someone in a mobility scooter, and he was lovely to all the girls. Please could you thank him (Ronnie) for doing such a great job on the way back - there were problems on the M4 and M25 at the same time but he took alternative routes and even managed to get us back early!

Group airport transfers from Austria

I am writing to praise your company and, above all, your employee Catherine Smith.

As you will see from your records Catherine organised a coach for my colleagues to Brighton from London Heathrow airport and back. A number of last minute changes had to be made, and I have lost count of the number of calls and emails I exchanged with Catherine. What really impressed me was that she was always polite and ready to help, no task was too annoying or difficult for her and she was always reliable when it came to making all the various changes.

I am hugely grateful to Catherine for all her hard work and we will certainly continue to use your company in the future thanks to her diligent and highly professional approach.

Nationwide group visits from Australia

I am writing to let you know about the excellent service that Catherine Smith has given to me. I have been trying to organise 3 separate groups of people for bus transportation around the UK to various locations and with ever changing time schedules. This isn't normally my job so it's been interesting to say the least.

Catherine has done an outstanding job and has assisted me greatly by checking and re-checking all my work and then having everything booked smoothly. Her helpful attitude has made the traumas I have been going through much less drastic.

I shall pass on Catherine's name as a recommendation to anyone here in Australia who needs transport in the UK in the future and shall definitely be using your company again.

The University of Southern Mississippi's British Studies Program, one of the largest American summer schools in Britain, has been dealing with Coach Direct since 2001. We have found them to be reliable and adaptable to our needs. We appreciate the range of coach and minibus sizes available, which we could not get from a normal coach operator, and the facility to hire coaches in Scotland and the West Country as well from our base in London. Safety and risk assessment are a particular concern with student groups and Coach Directs Code of Safety Practice provides us with the assurances we need with regard to coach travel.

I must tell you that our recent trip could not have gone any better or any smoother. It was a great trip in every aspect. One of the reasons everything went so well was found in the fact that we had an incredible coach driver, John, who really took care of everyone. He went way above the call of duty in making sure people had the best possible experience. The double decker coach worked out perfectly for the size of our group, and it was in great condition. I would commend John and his Cedar Coach with the highest possible marks for outstanding service. Next time we plan a trip overseas, we will not hesitate to contact you and to request John again. One of your coaches driven by Omar was used to transport high-ranking officers from overseas from the Barn Hotel at Ruislip to a dinner at Northwood and return on Monday 14th November. A second coach, driven by Mick, was used today - again to transport esteemed dignitaries from overseas from the Barn Hotel, via the NATO Headquarters to London Heathrow.

Both your drivers, in addition to displaying excellent driving skills, also showed extreme professionalism throughout their shifts. I had the privilege of working in close liaison with them as the coach escort and Protocol Assistant. They were a credit to themselves, your Company and indeed the United Kingdom.

Mill Hill School Bicentennial Thanksgiving Service,
St Paul's Cathedral, Thursday 1st March 2007

Managing to transport 1500 pupils and staff from Mill Hill School, in North London, to St Paul's Cathedral was not a task that we wished to tackle alone.

We approached several companies and Coach Direct stood out due to their knowledge and experience of organising the transportation of large numbers of people to prestige events.

Our liaison at Coach Direct was Andy. He was great to work with; displaying the experience and organisational skills that were needed to make the day go smoothly. On the day, everyone was transported to and from St Paul's in a fleet of 31 coaches. Our 'luggage' included 80 cassocks and surplices, musical instruments, Combined Cadet Force uniforms as well as assorted seating plans and gifts for honoured guests.

We arrived on time, enjoyed a wonderful, uplifting service and returned tired, but punctually back at the School. It is doubtful that we could have achieved this without Andy's guidance and his command of the 31 coaches and drivers.
